A festive message from the Convener

Christmas is a time for many of us to relax, recharge, and enjoy some quality time with our family and friends. For others it’s business as usual, working hard to provide the public services we all rely on, either for us or for someone we know: our carers, looking after loved ones; roads crews keeping our roads and pavements clear; and those on call including social workers, tradespeople carrying out emergency repairs in our 6,000 council homes, and our out-of-hours team at Cameron Park Brae. Thanks for your commitment to providing essential services over the festive break.

Thank you to all staff for your dedication throughout the year in making sure we can provide the best quality services to residents. It’s not possible to list everyone, but whether you’re working in education, environmental health, housing, leisure, transport, social work, or playing a part in delivering any other of our hundreds of valued services – without your hard work, Moray wouldn’t be such a fantastic place to live, work and play.
