Staff Car Parking

A £1 per day charge for staff parking in the Annexe and Greyfriars Street car parks in Elgin comes into effect from Monday 4 November.

Pay-and-display parking meters will be in operation from Monday-Saturday each week, with free parking available on Sunday, in line with other chargeable car parks in Elgin. The car parks remain for staff use only Monday – Friday. Car park attendants will monitor the car parks and those not displaying a valid ticket will face a parking ticket.

Disabled spaces will be free to use for blue badge holders, and there will be spaces, strictly for use by visitors, available by booking the space through the Facilities team (in line with the current arrangements).

Spaces will be allocated for pool cars which have designated spaces. Parking in St Giles car park or Lossie Green car park will be arranged for other council-owned vehicles based at the Headquarters campus, on display of a permit – the car parks team will be in touch with service managers to arrange this.

Parking is also available in the council's public pay and display car parks – all the information you need can be found here: www.moray.gov.uk/moray_standard/page_58746.html  On-street parking is available in the surrounding streets, enforced by Police Scotland.
