International Stress Awareness Week: 3-7 November 2025

International Stress Awareness Week runs from Monday 3 until Friday 7 November 2025.

It’s an opportunity to reflect on how we approach stress in the workplace and consider what we can do both individually and collectively to support employee wellbeing.

This year’s theme is ‘Optimising Employee Wellbeing through Strategic Stress Management’ – recognising that while stress is a part of working life, when it’s not well-managed it can affect health, performance and morale.

This year’s message, led by the International Stress Management Association (ISMA), emphasises the importance of building a workplace culture that prioritises support, recognition and growth.

We’ve pulled together some useful links offering advice on how to manage stress. Remember that the ability to cope with stress varies from person to person and what one person finds stressful may not be a problem for another.
