The STAR (Special Thanks and Recognition) Awards will return in 2026 and we’re delighted to begin the countdown to one of highlights of the Moray Council calendar.

Each year, the awards give us the chance to recognise the people who bring our values to life – through exceptional service, dedication, compassion or simple everyday actions that make a big difference.

Last year’s STAR Awards showcased incredible contributions from across every service area. From innovative teams to individuals who quietly go above and beyond - the stories shared reflected the commitment, creativity and resilience that keep Moray Council moving forward. As we look ahead to the 2026 awards, we know there are even more inspiring achievements still to be celebrated.
