Employee Survey 2025

The Employee Survey 2025 is coming soon ......

10 March - 04 April 2025

This is your chance to have your say about how you feel about working for the Council.  You are invited to share your views now so that you can influence what happens next.  A high response rate is important in ensuring that as accurate a picture as possible is provided of what most people think; the good, the bad and the not so sure.  Your thoughts and views matter.

The survey asks a range of questions about all aspects of working for the Council.  The information will be used to check whether work we are doing from previous surveys is still relevant and having a positive impact and also to identify where more work is needed.  The results are important so that the views of the workforce are provided to Elected Members for their consideration.

The survey is one of the few ways we can compare how things are across different services recognising the diverse range of functions and roles we deliver.  Whilst we all have very different roles, there are common themes across the services such as leadership, communication, training, change, and culture that we can gather information and learn from your experience.

It is really important that your voice is heard – what you say will directly influence real change within your own work area and the wider Council as a whole.  And the more people who take part, the stronger and clearer your voice will be.

We are proud of the progress we have made. But there is still more to do, and we need your help to tell us what that is.  Our employee survey will launch on Monday 10 March 2025.

We are asking all colleagues to complete the survey, and you will be allocated time to complete it when at work.  We hope most will complete the electronic survey however there will be paper copies for those with no computer access.  Also, we appreciate that many of our staff work in frontline services so that can be a challenge to find time for this.  In these service areas, your team meetings will be used as an opportunity to talk and distribute the survey; we will also be undertaking a number of drop-in sessions across these frontline services to allow an opportunity for front line staff to complete the survey there and then.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Clare from our Organisational Development team:  clare.alexander@moray.gov.uk

A voice does make a difference so please take the chance to use yours.
