Project Management
This half day course will help develop the necessary skills to implement projects within the Council.

Relevant to any employees that are leading Council projects

What will it cover?
On completion of the session the participant will be better able to:
- Define Projects and Project Management
- Explain some conventional project ‘roles’ and responsibilities
- Describe main constraints on projects
- Describe stages of projects and associated key activities
- Explain the importance of People Management to project success
- Develop Work Breakdown Structures and other project planning documents
- Explain and apply some project planning techniques and aids including;
e.g., Gantt charts and Network/Critical Path Analysis - Monitor project progress
