MMM: Discipline: Policy, Procedures and Practice

This course will use case studies to examine features of fair and effective handling of performance and conduct issues, including initial and ‘full, formal’ investigation. It will also examine the conduct of hearings.

  • Explain the main principles of our disciplinary policy
  • Describe the stages of a disciplinary investigation
  • Lead or contribute to a disciplinary investigation
  • Describe the stages of a disciplinary hearing
  • Contribute to a disciplinary hearing
  • Describe the possible outcomes of a hearing
  • State provisions of some relevant employment law
