The car parking team have advised that "Free After Three" returns this Saturday 26 November running over the festive period until 7 January 2023. Motorist can park for free at the St Giles Centre car park after 3pm.
It will run Monday – Saturday in St Giles Multi Story Car Park only. There is no reprogramming on the machines or the App as it is only relevant for motorists parking between the hours of 3pm – 6pm, e.g. anyone parking at 8am in the morning and is parking all day will be liable to pay for the whole day.
This will go out on Moray Council and the St Giles facebook pages informing the motorists that it is free during these hours, if they go on and pay for their parking though it will be accepted.
