Police Scotland, Moray Council and Aberdeenshire Council are planning to close the A939 Lecht to Cockbridge road today from 1700 due to forecast heavy snow until further notice.

Highland Council are planning to close the B9007 Ferness to Duthil Road today from 1500 due to forecast heavy snow until further notice.

Unfortunately due to technical issues the Online Bin Calendar for Route 56 is showing as collections for Green and Recycling bins on Tuesday 17th January.

Please be aware that the bin collection day has not changed. Green and Recycling bins are due to be collected Monday 16th January.

Please be advised that we are aware of an ongoing investigation conducted by Scottish Water regarding an issue in the Thornhill Drive area of Elgin.

Approximately 500 properties have been issued bottled water by Scottish Water whilst they investigate the issue. If you receive any enquiries regarding this matter please refer customers to Scottish Water as this is not a Council issue.
