Where a customer asks for information about the new second home charges from April 2024 they should initially be provided with the appropriate web-links to self-serve (the same applies if asking about discounts/exemptions).
The taxation team have tried to cover as many known scenarios as possible. However, if Customer Service staff are presented with an enquiry they cannot answer, a Support form should be added to D360 (previously known as W2) with clear instructions if they are required to contact the customer.
Final word, remember when adding a support form to D360 that if a customer does not want to provide you with a phone number/email address this should be noted on your support forms.
