The first half of next week there will be sweepers driving slowly cleaning the road edge lines in preperarion for new lining. The lining works will also be taking place over the next two weeks and although all works will be mobile there will be slow moving vehicles for the following two weeks on the;
A941 Lossiemouth – Dufftown
A940 Forres south to Highland boundary.
A message has been put on social media by PR and also communicated to Moray Firth Radio to make drivers aware of possible slow moving vehicles.
Due to the large volume of enquiries being handled at this time, some Waste cases that are being reported have been resolved by the service before the case is picked up.
Moving forward can all advisors please include the date the customer originally emailed in to their case notes so that Waste may see if the issues have been worked on already.
Please note than any enquiries about organising school transport can be redirected to the Moray Council website. There is a page dedicated to this information and has the digi application form.
The oublic toilets at Fochabers have been closed due to vandalism. There is no estimation currently on when they will reopen.
The C26E Miltonduff to Lochside Road is closed at Viewhill Bridge. This is due to safety concerns following damage to the Bridge Structure. Diversion route in place via C26E - A96 - Pluscarden Road - C3E.
Following a few calls from customers it appears that there was an issue with Pay360 crashing in February for advisors taking payments over the phone, this meant it looked as though the payment hadn’t worked however it worked at the customer side and was only our side that crashed. If a customer calls saying they paid for a permit over the phone and have not received it the following are the next best steps to take:
• Check contact history for the incoming call and check to see if the case was raised to the service.
• If the case was raised to the service(confirm code in case history) you should run the follow up script and request a replacement sent out
• If the interaction was closed saying the system crashed/payment failed etc please obtain the last 4 digits of the card used to make the payment and search for this on pay360 using the date of the failed payment to filter down your search.
• Once you find the payment copy the receipt and run the script as if you are taking payment today.
• For issues with online payments please continue to follow the normal processes as you have been doing.
If for any reason you are not sure or have any questions, please raise with your senior in the first instance for advice.
We have been informed that the cooksafe books have increased to £8.78 (including postage) in line with what is advertised within the online shop.
The script has been updated with the new price and we have removed the option to collect from the Access Point/Library.
