Please be advised due to a contaminated container, Chanonry Recycling Centre are unable to accept waste oil until further notice. Other recycling centres are not affected.

After consulting with Environmental Health, they have confirmed that the current advice to follow is via the link here to GOV UK. The service have been notified that the Council webpage may need updating to include this information.

Due to technical issues at Gollachy Recycling Centre in Buckie we cannot accept any Garden waste until further notice.

Garden waste can be taken to Dallachy Recycling Centre (Saturday only) or Moycroft Recycling Centre in Elgin (Saturday and Sunday). No appointment necessary.

The Waste team have advised from the 1st August central bulky collections will be collected on a Friday.
