Moray College provide placements for staff to undertake HNC Social Services who already have, or are currently, working towards SVQ Level 3. Further information is available on this leaflet (PDF) or their website.
If you’re interested in undertaking this course as part of your job you must initially receive agreement from your line manager, as you’ll need to attend day release classes. You can read more information about access to training in our Post Entry Training policy.
Funding
You may be entitled to claim SAAS funding and should discuss this with the college in the first instance. You can read more about SAAS funding online.
Should you not meet the criteria for SAAS funding and there’s a requirement for you to undertake this qualification as part of your job, you can apply for the training team funding (limited numbers are allowed each year). You can do this by completing the application for funding (Word). Please note that funding is not confirmed until you receive notification from us.
