News - November 2024
In light of the recent news from Aberdeen City Councils RAAC announcement please be advised that Moray Council is currently undertaking an initial desktop review of our housing stock to establish any properties which may be at risk of containing RAAC panels. Once completed if any properties are identified as at risk an appropriate inspection programme will be developed to confirm the position in the properties and then establish any appropriate mitigation measures.
If any calls come in regarding RAAC please raise them against the GCAH shortcode and leave an interaction note.
From 5pm tonight there will be a new script going Live, which can be found via HouProp > Private Tenancy/Owner Occupier > Open Market Purchase Scheme.
This script will allow you to handle calls related to OMPS, largely referring to the information available on the webpage.
There are two main routes:
1. Already Applied
a. If the the enquirer is seeking an update following an inspection of their property by a housing projects officer/member of the asset team this will be directed to Asset Team.
b. Any other enquiries will be directed to Housing Policy queue.
2. Not Yet Applied
a. We can direct enquirers to make a formal application to the scheme via the webpage online form.
b. We can email the customer a link to the webpage.
c. A case would only be raised to the Housing Policy queue if the customer needed clarity or support in filling in the application, or wanted to request a paper copy of the form.
As always if you have any questions please raise via your Senior.
Below issue is now resolved. Please revert to using the Request a Replacement Rent Account Card script
Please can you use the short code houother and opt for a case to go to rents admin for anyone requesting a replacement rent card. This is a temporary measure until we’re able to resolve the current fault in script
Subject to committee approval we’ll be starting a tenant consultation on rents for 2025-2028. It will last from 20/11/24 to 03/01/25
