Just to update you that no payments were posted for 27th September 2024 and only web/phone payments for 28th September 2024. This covers Council Tax, Non Domestic Rates and Sundry Debtors.

ICT are investigating and we’ll update you when these payments are to be posted.

Hi, following the recent Council Tax warrant run, Scott & Co will be issuing their letters on Friday.

Morning, following the recent Council Tax warrant run, debts for 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2024/25 were passed to Scott & Co. I will confirm later today when letters from Scott & Co will be released. In the first instance the customers will obviously contact Scott & Co but just in case they don’t, here’s the quantities.

2020/21 – 14
2021/22 – 26
2022/23 – 92
2023/24 – 580
2024/25 – 395

Part of this warrant run also produced Attachment of Benefit Letters for 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24. These will be issued by CFH today.

Quantities for these letters are as follows.

2021/22 – 3
2022/23 – 13
2023/24 – 118

Update 10/09 - Following on from my email yesterday, CFH have confirmed that the Council Tax and NDR reminders/final notices detailed below will be issued by Royal Mail today.

Council Tax and NDR recovery was run this morning and the following have been sent to CFH for production later this week. They are all dated 12/9/24.

Council Tax 1st reminders – 584
Council Tax 2nd reminders – 84
Council Tax Final notices – 272

NDR 1st Reminders – 48
NDR 2nd Reminders – 7
NDR Final notices – 36

I’ll confirm the issue date once CFH lets me know.

Please be advised that a minor change to the NDR script will be published tonight at 5pm.

There is now an additonal option on the property search section for NDR customers who own multiple properties. This option is at the bottom clearly marked as 'Multiple Properties', underneath Property Not Applicable.

If you have any issues or questions regarding this change please raise it via your Senior in the first instance.

In order to clear up any possible, confusion (I’m thinking I may not have been the only one) please see the following updates, re-recent issues affecting some Ctax customers trying to pay using the Online or Automated payment line:

Online (webpage) “No Balance Found”:
No resolution found, still being, investigated by CIVICA (system providers) note, the fix installed over the weekend, wasn’t expected to resolve this issue.

As per previous guidance, Advisors can still take payments for these accounts over the telephone as you will be able to manually enter the customer details.

Automated Payment Line “Incorrect Balances”
No resolution found, still being, investigated by Taxation team and CIVICA. Note, the fix that was carried out over the weekend, appears not to have fixed this issue as when I called the payment line earlier today, to check an account example provided previously, the balances on the automated payment line and Open Revenues (OR) still did not agree.

**Just to let you know that the main HB file has now been posted to the accounts**

Just to let you know the housing benefit file hasn’t posted automatically due to a discrepancy with the number of records benefit support have noted on the file, this is an easy fix for ICT which I have passed on and the file will be loaded in later.

The HBU & HBO file have been posted.

I’ll let you know once it has been posted.
