News - October 2024
Paperless DD update: Taxation Manager has advised that they’re currently working with ICT to have the paperless DD Eform available to the public from December 2024. Customer Service staff will be able to assist customers (who can’t use/access the paperless option) by completing over the phone. Training will need to be provided to Advisors for this, no dates are available yet, but I can assure you, regardless of when this new Eform is made available to the public, Customer Services WILL NOT complete paperless DD’s by phone until training has been completed. I would also stress that regardless of training, the preferred route will always be for Advisors to direct customers to self-serve using online services. As with current DD’s, I’m assuming that Customer Services will not be able to view these forms on D360, but I could be wrong on that. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
Paperless COA update: The Taxation team & ICT have started to work on an upgrade to the existing online COA Eform which currently, when completed comes to Customer Services, via Lagan Email for Advisors to pick up and upload to D360 (their document management system). The new Eform will only be made available to the public when it has been tested and the service are satisfied that it is fit for purpose. Once it is available to the public, the new successfully completed COA’s will resolve directly to D360 therefore removing the double handling for Customer Services (Customer Services will have access to view the form on D360). More information will be shared as it becomes available.
Paperless WAGA update:Benefits Manager has advised that they’ve resumed (it’s been ongoing for a number of years) work with ICT on the creation of the online WAGA form (Benefits Service). Once completed and tested the form will be available for members of the public to complete online and all successfully submitted WAGA forms will resolve directly to D360. Customer Service staff will be given sight of the new online form in advance of it being made available to the public but please note, unlike the SWF forms, Customer Service Advisors will not complete the Eform by phone. Members of the public unable to access the new Eform online will still be able to have one sent to them or collect from Libraries. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
Kindest regards
Donna / Customer Service Team Leader
