STAR Awards 2026 – nominations are now closed
The STAR (Special Thanks and Recognition) Awards celebrate the people and teams whose great work makes a difference across every service area. They recognise the commitment, creativity and resilience that help keep Moray Council moving forward.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate a colleague or team for the STAR Awards 2026. Your nominations help us recognise the dedication, compassion and everyday actions that make a real difference across Moray Council.
Here is what will happen next
- All nominations received by the closing date will now be reviewed by the judging panel, with judging expected to be completed by the end of September 2026.
- Once judging has concluded, thank-you letters will be issued and awards will be presented by Karen Greaves, Chief Executive.
- Nominees will be contacted for their consent before any personal information is shared in Connect or on Interchange.
Thank you again to everyone who helped shine a spotlight on the people and teams who make such a positive difference across the Council.
