Core Training Modules on CLIVE
As we settle into the busy rhythm of the year, now’s a great time to review your development for the coming year.
Core Training Modules on CLIVE are an essential part of that consideration. Completion of these courses ensure that you are aware of, and appropriately trained, in essential elements that ensure you and the council is meeting statutory, legislative and regulatory requirements, and that you are equipped with the information required to appropriately act and respond in any given situation in protecting the workforce, the organisation and the public from potential harms.
These courses are key in helping us achieve our goals as an organisation. The short courses give us the essential knowledge we all need to work effectively, support each other, and make sure we’re aligned to the standards that keep our organisation at its best.
These core training modules are the minimum essential requirements for every employee across all services and must be completed as per the frequency noted in CLIVE. Some are required to be completed on a biennial basis and others as a one off. Some services will also have role specific training in place, so speak to your line manager if you are unsure.
