Hello Moray Council repairs team,
We have clients contact us after phoning yourselves and I note we are recommended for jobs that we wouldn't do so I just wanted to share the below for your information. Could this get circulated within your repairs team please?
Our team of volunteers complete small DIY jobs to help disabled, elderly or otherwise vulnerable people to stay safe in their own homes, if they don't have family/friends/neighbours to help, or the resources to source/pay a Tradesperson.
We can help with small DIY tasks such as:
• Putting up shelves
• Replacing light bulbs
• Putting up curtain poles
• Hanging curtains
• Hang mirrors and pictures
• Supply and install key safes (There is a cost attached to this service)
We do not carry out jobs that would require a qualified tradesperson, such as:
• Plumbing
• Painting and decorating
• Electricals
• Gardening
• Full house clearance/uplift items to the recycling centre
• Building large furniture
Update 15:40: Stevens phone issues have now been resolved and he can now be contacted.
Please be advised that Steven Stewart will be unavailable from 14:00 this afternoon, please redirect any calls for Steven to the DLO.
Can all advisors please send any emergency calls for Steven to another member of the team until 1000 this morning please.
