17th February 2023 - Housing Repairs - Storm Otto - Update 22/02/2023

Update 22/02/2023: Please ensure you email through to DLOSchedulers inbox any jobs for STORM OTTO damage. These jobs are now not going onto the PDA (you will probably find the diary is completely full for 20 days tickets as it is) this should hopefully help. Schedulers will sort out at their end & any Lagan case can be closed as passed on by email.

Update 16:44 – Andy attended the recent emergency update meeting. It appears that power appears to be back on for most of the affected properties, Housing are attending to approximately 30 emergency repairs. There are no further Roads issues expected. SSE were updating their website (https://powertrack.ssen.co.uk/powertrack ) with anticipated restoration timeframes. Customers still experiencing power issues after 5pm should contact their provider initially.

Following contact from Building Services Manager Mike Rollo based at the DLO in Mosstodloch, Mike has advised that they are continuing to react to a number of emergency repairs as a result of storm Otto. The yellow weather warning is anticipated to cover until at least 3pm today and as a result Donna has agreed to provide an update to Mike re-call volumes at 12pm and 3pm this afternoon so that Housing Managers can ensure that the out of hours team are as prepared as can be for any potential increase in contact.

3rd February 2023 - Housing Repairs, COVID questions to remain in place for the foreseeable future

Earlier last year the SG replaced the phrase “self-isolating” with the new phrase “stay at home advice” to be followed by anyone testing positive or suffering from symptoms related to Coronavirus. As a result, the questions asked of customers reporting a repair remain in place and should continue to be asked by Customer Services until advised otherwise.

If you have any questions, please pass via your Senior in the first instance.
