Data Matters at Moray Council
Every day, we make decisions that shape the lives of people across Moray. Data gives us the evidence to understand needs in our communities, focus our efforts efficiently, and make the best use of public resources.
But data is only the starting point. When combined with the experience, expertise, and intuition of our people, it becomes knowledge. That knowledge helps us make smarter decisions, deliver better services, and improve outcomes for our communities.
In a few weeks we’ll be launching our Data Maturity Programme which will help us strengthen how we collect, manage, understand, and use data across the council. It will build the skills, culture and practices needed to turn data into trusted insight and better decisions across Moray Council.
Data tells us what is happening. People determine what it means. Together, they create the insight that drives a better Moray.
