Share your story in this year’s DYW Moray #NoWrongPath campaign

Exam results day is coming up on Tuesday 4 August, and Moray Council is supporting DYW Moray’s #NoWrongPath campaign on social media.

The campaign is all about showing young people that there is no single “right” route into the future. Careers can take unexpected turns, plans can change, and sometimes the best opportunities come from paths we never expected to take.

That is where you come in.

We would love Moray Council staff to share their own career journeys and help show young people that success looks different for everyone. Your story, whether straightforward, surprising or full of twists, could help someone feel more confident, reassured or inspired.

To take part, simply complete the #NoWrongPath template, ask someone to take a photo of you holding it, and send it to the PR team at pr@moray.gov.uk by Tuesday 28 July.

Please also include a short lesson learned from your career so far, something you wish you had known earlier, or a piece of advice you would pass on to a young person.

For staff based at HQ, the PR team can help take photos and provide a copy of the template if needed.

On Tuesday 4 August, we will share photos on Moray Council’s social media channels and tag @DYWMoray, helping to celebrate the brilliant range of people, roles and journeys across our workforce.

Whether your path was planned, unexpected, winding or completely different from where you started, it matters.

Thank you for taking part and helping young people see that there really is no wrong path.
