Moray Council libraries take part in Bookbug Week 2026
Moray Council libraries are taking part in Bookbug Week 2026 (Mon 18 May-Sunday 24 May), with activities running all week.
Bookbug Week is a national initiative celebrating the Bookbug programme and aims to encourage more families to take part in local Bookbug activities and sessions.
As part of this year’s celebrations, libraries are hosting Bookbug’s Big Quest Big Bingo, where Bookbug characters have been hidden around local libraries. Children who find them all will be entered into a prize draw to win a Bookbug toy.
Moray libraries also continue to offer regular Bookbug sessions in both English and Gaelic, supporting early years literacy and encouraging families to enjoy stories, songs and rhymes together.
