HQ basement clear out

It’s time for a Spring clear out and where better to start than the HQ basement?!
We have a number of out-of-date documents and paperwork there that should have been removed as part of our Data Protection responsibilities that now need actioned.
Teams have until 22 May (two weeks) to review and remove any stored items in the basement.
After this date, anything boxed and labelled with a destroy date that has passed will be disposed of.
Basement rooms will be consolidated as part of this exercise. Where teams haven’t been able to engage ahead of time, consolidation will still go ahead and they’ll be advised of their new basement room allocation afterwards.
Teams can contact Amy Hartill on amy.hartill@moray.gov.uk directly to organise the practical side of removals and storage once confirmation has been received of what can be disposed of (confidential or otherwise); what can be digitised; and what needs to be retained (including whether regular access is required).
Similar work is planned for kitchens and the Annexe storage after the HQ basement so it’s worth having a look at those areas now too to get ahead of the game.
