Trauma Informed Training

New training modules on CLIVE
CONTENT:
Trauma Informed Practice is a change management programme that supports organisations and services to identify ways of working that support staff, at all levels, and those who access the services provided by the Council.
A number of eModules and videos are now available on CLIVE which will give you the foundational knowledge in what trauma informed practice is and how it can be applied.
The videos can be found within the Essential learning on CLIVE, and are:
- Opening Doors: Trauma Informed Practice for the Workforce (For all staff)
- Sowing Seeds: Trauma Informed Practice for Anyone Working with Children and Young People (For staff who directly support children and young people as well as staff who provide support to children and young people services)
The modules are:
- Developing your trauma skilled practice 1 : understanding the impact of trauma and responding in a trauma-informed way>(CORE training)
- Developing your trauma skilled practice 2 : trauma in children and young people>(For staff who directly support children and young people as well as staff who provide support to children and young people services)
- Developing your trauma skilled practice 3 : understanding the impact on mental health and evidence-based pathways to recovery (For all staff)
- Developing your trauma skilled practice 4 : understanding the use of substances to cope with the impact of trauma (For staff who directly support people using substances as well as staff who provide support to services where people are using substances)
- An Introduction to Psychological First Aid (For all staff)
- Psychological First Aid – Looking After Ourselves (For all staff)
- Psychological First Aid for Managers (For staff in leadership and management roles)
