Earth Hour to take place

Saturday 28 March marks the 20th Earth Hour, a global moment when people switch off their lights to show support for the planet.
Since 2007, landmarks across the globe have gone dark in a simple gesture of solidarity, joining millions worldwide in recognising the importance of nature.
This year’s theme, “Give an Hour for Earth” encourages everyone to do something positive for the planet - whether it’s related to food, fitness, the arts or the outdoors, people are being encouraged to do something – even a something small – to make a difference.
