Mandatory Cyber Security Phishing Training – Reminder

You should all have received the email asking you to complete the Cyber Security training course provided by MetaCompliance.

The progress is encouraging - 2035 of you have completed the training, and 404 are working through the module. However, 2887 colleagues have yet to even start the training.

The purpose of the training is to help protect both Moray Council and you personally against the threat of phishing. Phishing is one of most effective ways that criminals can launch a Ransomware attack against the council or you personally by collecting your personal or financial information.

The training module lasts approximately 15 minutes and highlights the warning signs that we should all be aware of, which in turn will help foster a culture of cyber resilience within Moray Council.

If you haven’t yet started the training, please do so today. Colleagues who are yet to complete it will receive reminder emails from no-reply@metacompliance.com which contain a link to the training module.

The email link is unique to the individual member of staff, so if it is deleted, it is not simple to just resend the link. Also the automated email with the link can be sent at antisocial times.
