EU Settlement Scheme - Don't miss out
EU citizens and their families who want to stay here after June 2021 have to apply for Settled or Pre Settled status to secure their right to live, work and use public services in the UK.
The deadline for applying is 30 June 2021
You have to apply online (using a PC, laptop, Android device or iPhone) on the GOV.UK website at https://www.gov.uk/settled-status-eu-citizens-families
There is no charge, you have to prove your identity, prove your residence in the UK and declare any criminal convictions that need to be disclosed. Help is available to take you through the process.
Where can you get help?
- Telephone support is available from the EU Settlement Resolution Centre.
Call 0300 123 7379 Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm or weekends from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
- A helpline service called EU Citizens Support is available by phone from the Citizens
Advice Bureau - Call 0800 916 9847 Mondays and Fridays from 9am to 1pm or Wednesdays from 1pm to 5pm.
