Employee Self Service (ESS)
All Moray Council employees have 24/7 access to a fully secure and user-friendly Employee Self Service portal (ESS).
All new employees MUST now enter their own Bank Account Details directly to ESS to enable them to get paid by BACs on their pay day.
You can also:
- View and update all your Personal information and view your Employment information
- View and download your current and historical Payslips and P60’s
- View your record of Sickness Absences
Getting started:
Your Username and password will have been emailed out to you already from payroll@moray.gov.uk
Username: will normally be your firstname.surname but check your email to make sure
Password: for your first login it will be set as your National Insurance number in the following format:
First 2 letters in upper case, 6 numbers, last letter in lower case
Click on the Login button
You will be prompted to set a new password which must consist of Upper case letters, Lower case letters and numbers and be at least 8 characters long.
We recommend that you set up your memorable information as soon as you get logged into ESS. This will allow you to reset your own password if you forget what it is. Instructions on how to do this are in the “User Guide for Employee Self Service” button below.
