This Wednesday (18 March) marks Global Recycling Day, which is designed to highlight the important role recycling plays in protecting the planet and supporting a more sustainable future.
In Moray, we have one of the best recycling rates in Scotland, thanks to the hard work of our Waste & Recycling Team, and our residents.
No waste in Moray goes to kandfill thanks to our involvement in the Energy From Waste Facility in Aberdeen, and our recycling rate is well above the national average. But what happens to your recycling when it’s collected? Find out here.
