Funding for Combat Stress
The Scottish Government has announced funding for the specialist services of our consortium partner Combat Stress. The investment of £645,000 will help offer intensive treatment for trauma-related mental health conditions to those affected by their experiences in the Armed Forces.

Mental health support 
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde has compiled a resource for Adult Mental Health with signposting, useful apps, helplines and websites. Follow the link to access Adult MH Helplines &Websites.

Training & Events

Networking event for female veterans
This free, in-person event in Edinburgh offers ex-servicewomen the opportunity to connect with peers in a relaxed and supportive setting. Sign up to enjoy informal networking, conversation and afternoon tea while building lasting connections within the veteran community.

UF Training Dates 2026
Dates for the UF awareness trainings can be found below. These sessions provide a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about veterans' issues and the work we do to support veterans.
We will discuss the challenges facing ex-Armed Forces personnel as they grow older, how to indentify ex-Armed Forces personnel and share details of extra support and opportunities available to veterans.
Training could be used as an introduction to new staff joining your organisation. All sessions are free.

Dementia training with Age Scotland
New workshop dates to March 2026 have been announced and early booking is advised. Workshops can also be arranged for community groups, charities and organisations – you can get in touch with dementiatraining@agescotland.org.uk to discuss this further.

Mental Health First Aid

Funding Opportunities

Grants available for small charities
