Youth Mental Health Day – Let’s Make a Difference
On Friday 19 September, we’ll observe Youth Mental Health Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about the mental health challenges young people face and encouraging open conversations about mental well-being.
As we all know, today’s youth are under a lot of pressure. Whether it’s stress, anxiety, or even depression, these issues can have a big impact. This day serves as a reminder that we all play a role in supporting the mental health of the younger generation. It’s an opportunity to reflect on how we can break the stigma around mental health, promote early intervention, and ensure young people feel empowered to ask for help when they need it.
Youth Mental Health Day also gives us a chance to come together as a team to make a real impact. Whether it’s sharing information, offering support, or just being there to listen, every little action counts.
If you or someone you know needs support, there are plenty of resources available. Visit stem 4 for more information on how to help.
Let’s use this day to make sure mental health is part of the conversation and remind our young people that they’re not alone.
