Honouring our heroes: Armed Forces Day 2025
Armed Forces Day is an important opportunity to show our support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community, including currently serving personnel, service families, veterans, and cadets. This national celebration takes place on the last Saturday in June, which this year falls on Saturday, 28 June.
Here in Moray, we are proud to have a strong and vibrant Armed Forces presence. To mark the occasion, Moray Council will raise the Armed Forces Flag on Friday, 27 June, as a tribute to our military and defence community.
To coincide with this, Moray Council will be launching its first ever Armed Forces Covenant Guide, which will be available for free at local libraries, the annex at Council HQ and at various other locations. A digital copy will also be available.
