Recycling Update
The festive season is a time for celebration, but it often leaves behind a significant amount of waste. From mountains of wrapping paper to piles of packaging, the aftermath of Christmas can overwhelm our bins.
Now that Christmas has passed and the New Year is underway, our regular recycling services are resuming.
Brown Bin collections will restart on Monday 6 January 2025. From this date, real Christmas trees can be placed alongside your brown bin for collection, and no garden waste permit is required for tree disposal.
Recycling centres will also reopen on Monday 6 January with facilities once again accepting wood, metal and rubble.
So, kick of the new year on the right note and make sure you’ve responsibly disposed of all your holiday waste.
