Getting Involved
It’s never too early to express an interest; the programme starts in October each year and Career Ready ask that anyone interested gets in contact as soon as possible to ensure all of the correct paperwork and checks are in place.
If you would like to volunteer as a mentor for the next programme, please register your interest here .
You will be contacted by the Career Ready team who will take you through the process including your application to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG scheme). This is a prerequisite and part of the safeguarding process to protect you and your student.
Once that’s all done, you will be invited to a mentor briefing session where you have an opportunity to meet other mentors and get the chance to understand the role of mentor before the launch event.
You will be supported throughout the programme by the Career Ready Regional Manager.
