Get Online Week
As this week is Get Online Week we wanted to introduce you to Good Things Foundation - the UK’s leading digital inclusion charity.
Across the UK, 10.2 million residents lack essential digital skills, hindering online access for vital needs like connecting with loved ones, job opportunities, and essential services.
Get Online Week is an annual campaign run by Good Things Foundation, who are on a mission to fix the digital divide. You can find out more about the campaign at https://uk.getonlineweek.com/about.
For one week in October, Good Things Foundation’s network of community partners host hundreds of free digital skills events to help people get online safely, confidently and affordably.
As one of Good Things Foundation’s partners, the Moray Pathways partnership is hosting events throughout Moray between 17th-20th Oct for Get Online Week.
If you would be interested in more information or would like to come to one of the events in either Forres, Elgin, Buckie or Keith please contact Martin Skinner, Digital Inclusion Project Officer at martin.skinner@moray.gov.uk.
