Annual Leave Reminder
Whatever your job, annual leave is often a crucial part of it. Our minds and our bodies need proper breaks from the workplace – and regularly! In fact studies have shown that people who take time away from the job can have physical and mental health benefits including a better outlook on life, improved mental health and self-motivation to achieve goals.
With that in mind as we hit the half way mark in year it is important to make sure that you are planning in regular annual leave breaks. Time off will help you keep a healthy work/life balance and reduce stress. It makes sense when you consider it: the more leave you take, the more rested, relaxed and resilient you'll be and that’s good for everyone.
It is recommended that staff use their leave proportionately across the leave calendar year and don’t leave it all to the end of the year when it might be difficult to fit it. Speak to your manager now and make sure you have planned some time off for that well deserved ‘ R&R’.
