Moray College - Flexible Working Development Fund
The Flexible Working Development Fund has now been allocated and the following courses have been made available:
Places will be filled on a first come first serve basis. (12 places are available)
Team working – 17th September 2019: 9:30am – 12:30pm
This workshop explores why team work is so often used in workplaces and why it is often more effective than individual work. More can be achieved, knowledge and ideas can be sparked and shared, workload is spread and more effective and so on. However, working in teams is not easy and there are pitfalls if teams are not properly created and managed. This workshop explores what teams are, how to create them and what can go wrong with them. It also explores how to get the most from teams.
Experience the practical aspects of teamwork within an engaging and interactive delivery model.
Resilience – 24th September: 9:30am – 12:30pm
The workshop will explore the following questions:
• What is resilience?
• Why is it important for individuals and organisations?
• What are the essential elements for resilience?
• How we can develop resilience?
Working in small groups delegates will explore thee questions using the following methods: Interactive tasks, sharing experiences and action planning. At the end of the workshop delegates should leave with some key actions to take back to the workplace.
