Scottish Veterans Commissioner publishes update

The Scottish Veterans Commissioner’s 2025 assessment of the Scottish Government's progress towards implementing SVC recommendations for improving support and services for the veteran community is live.

Dig in to your heritage

Veterans are invited to join a new community archaeology project in a historic cemetery near St Andrews. Participants will learn archaeology skills, including how to uncover hidden artefacts and excavate.
There are three free sessions and booking information is available from b.saunders@wessexarch.co.uk.

Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival

The festival returns from October 20 to November 9, inspired this year by the theme Comfort & Disturb.

New podcast for veterans

Listen to the New Frontier podcast commissioned by the Scottish Veterans Wellbeing Alliance and Edinburgh Napier University. The podcast explores what it means to be ex-Forces in modern Scotland featuring stories from veterans, their families, loved ones and alliance partners who support them.

A game of snakes and ladders
