CyberScotland Week

CyberScotland Week is an annual initiative aimed at strengthening Scotland’s cyber resilience by raising awareness about cyber security.

In 2025, this week-long event will take place from 24 February to 2 March, with the goal of encouraging individuals, businesses, and communities to take proactive steps toward securing their digital environments.

The theme for 2025, "Can’t Hack It!?", highlights simple, everyday actions that can significantly enhance cyber security. These include using strong, unique passwords, enabling two-factor authentication, backing up data regularly, and keeping software up to date. By focusing on these straightforward measures, CyberScotland Week seeks to empower people to protect themselves from cyber threats.

Throughout the week, a variety of activities will take place across the country, ranging from workshops and webinars to casual discussions. These events are designed to provide valuable insights into practical ways to improve personal and organizational cyber security practices. Whether it's learning about the latest cyber threats or discovering tools for better online protection, CyberScotland Week offers something for everyone.

The week encourages participation from all corners of Scotland. Individuals, organizations, and community groups are invited to host their own events and share their knowledge. The collective effort to raise awareness and educate people about cyber risks is crucial in creating a more secure digital future.

By participating in CyberScotland Week, you contribute to building a safer and more resilient cyber environment for everyone in Scotland.
