Early Learning and Childcare Expansion

The Scottish Government currently funds 600 hours of early learning and childcare a year for three, four and eligible two year olds. In Moray, this is delivered by a combination of school nurseries, independent (private and third sector) early learning and childcare providers, and childminders (for two year olds only).

Hours available will increase to 1,140 hours a year for each child by 2020 – here you’ll find monthly newsletters giving updates on the ELC expansion in Moray and news about progress on Moray Council’s delivery of this service.
