Proposed increase in voting membership of the Moray Integration Joint Board
Comments are invited on a proposed change to the Moray Integration Scheme for health and social care to allow for the appointment of two additional voting members to the Moray Integration Joint Board.
The voting membership reflects equal participation by the health board and local authority to ensure that there is joint decision making and accountability. There are currently six voting members – three nominated by each organisation.
To increase resilience and provide wider scrutiny across the Board and its committees, the Board is proposing that two additional voting members be appointed to take the total number to eight. Both Moray Council and NHS Grampian are in agreement.
