Proposed ICT Works – 24th/25th August

This is an update on the notification sent last week regarding proposed works which may affect ICT systems/services.
Property Services in conjunction with ICT are planning to carry out important maintenance work on the specialised equipment used to protect the main power supply to the HQ Annexe building, including the council’s main data centre. These works are a follow-up to the similar maintenance works carried out last month (9th June).
The date for these works has now changed to the 24th/25th August. It is currently proposed that the works will commence at midday on the 24th and be completed sometime on the 25th. During this time ICT systems will remain available, however there is a small possibility of disruption to ICT systems during the period that the work is taking place.
