Council Christmas Door Decorating Competition
Get ready to spread some festive cheer! We’re inviting all offices, depots and schools across the council to take part in our first-ever Christmas Door Decorating Competition.It’s a great way to bring a little sparkle and fun to your workplace this holiday season.
How to Enter
- Decorate your office door within the doorframe (no walls or ceilings, please) or on the privacy screen round your desk.
- Keep it safe – no fire hazards, trip hazards, or anything that could block exits.
- Use non-damaging materials to attach decorations (no nails or anything that leaves marks).
- Keep it budget-friendly – creativity counts more than cost!
- No sabotage of other doors – let’s keep this in the spirit of fun and good humour.
- Nothing offensive – festive and inclusive only.
- Decorating the doors should not be done during core hours and time spent decorating should not be excessive.
How to Submit
Post a photo of your decorated door on Viva Engage under the “All Community” group and tag Tracey Sutherland in the post so she can collate the entries. Or reply to Tracey’s post on there with your photo. Email tracey.sutherland@moray.gov.uk with any questions.
Closing date for photo submissions: 12pm on 17 December.
The Chief Executive and Council Leader will be judging based on the photos, so please make sure your photo is clear and shows off your creativity!
Judging & Prize
Judging will take place after submissions close and the winner will be announced on 22 December – the prize for the winning office will be delivered before Christmas.
