EDRMS Update – Testing and Handover Progress
Work on the EDRMS project continues to progress, with the programme now moving into the testing and handover phase.

System testing is underway, focusing on ensuring that key functionality such as document storage, retrieval, retention and search operate effectively in day-to-day use. This testing is being carried out using practical scenarios to reflect how services will use the system in practice. Feedback received to date has been positive, and no significant issues have been identified.

Handover activities have also commenced. ICT is working with service representatives to support knowledge transfer and to prepare for the transition to live operation and ongoing support arrangements.

Testing will continue over the coming weeks, with any required refinements being addressed as part of this process. Work is also progressing on the development of supporting guidance and training materials aligned with the rollout.

These updates to our EDRMS will support improved records management, compliance with statutory requirements, and more efficient access to information across services.

Shared Drives
Shared Drives are not included in this phase and will be migrated later in the year. Further details will be provided in due course.

In the meantime, staff are encouraged to:

  • Review and remove any redundant data
  • Identify documents that should be formally managed as records
  • Ensure these are clearly highlighted for future migration

Further updates will be provided as the project progresses.
