Network Outage – Tuesday 17th February from 4pm

ICT will be carrying out some critical network changes on the above date/time. These changes will be disruptive and cause services to be unavailable for a period of time. It is hoped the works will be completed by 5:30pm.
Network services which will be affected include:
- Internet access (both corporate and libraries) – this will also affect remote working via the corporate VPN;
- Online services;
- PSN access (corporate staff) – e.g. access to DWP, CHS, etc.;
- Network access from remote corporate offices as well as libraries;
- Network access within the NHS Grampian/HSCM network in HQ.
These works will not affect the schools (Edunet) network.
To avoid any potential loss of work, it is recommended that staff log off just prior to 4pm, especially if connected remotely via VPN.
We apologise in advance for the disruption this may cause. While we would normally look to carry out such works much later in the evening, the time slot reflects the need to guarantee support from external providers.
