Microsoft Outlook Issue


A recent configuration change to improve Virtual Desktop performance has affected Microsoft Outlook on the Virtual Desktops (Citrix/W10 Desktops/Thin Clients).

If you receive the error message below then your outlook profile will have to be re-created to pick up new policies being applied.

“Outlook is using an old copy of your Outlook data file (.ost). Exit Outlook, delete the file, and restart Outlook. A new file will be automatically created the next time you initiate a send/receive.”

Please follow the guidance in these instructions to re-create your outlook profile. If you continue to have issues after this then please log a new call with ICT.
