Road works effecting councillors car-parks

Moray Council Roads Maintenance will be undertaking carriageway resurfacing works commencing 25th September 2023 on Greyfriars Street, Elgin from the junction with Moss Street through to the A96 roundabout for approximately 2 weeks.
This will affect access to the council car-parks periodically. Site notices will be issued in advance advising of access arrangements and exact proposed closure dates but listed below is the proposed restrictions relating to each car park:
w/c 25 September HQ Annexe car park will not be accessible between 9am – 4pm Monday 25– Friday 29 September. Staff can access the car park up until 9am however vehicles will be unable to exit the car park until after 4pm. From 4pm the car park will be accessible until 9am the following morning.
Greyfriars Street car park will not be accessible on Monday 25 September.
Access to the Councillor’s car park on Glover Street will be from Abbey Street only, apart from Wednesday 27 September when access to this car park will be via High Street.
w/c 2 October Greyfriars Street car park will not be accessible between 9am – 4pm Monday 2 – Friday 6 October. Staff can access the car park up until 9am however vehicles will be unable to exit the car park until after 4pm. From 4pm the car park will be accessible until 9am the following morning.
HQ Annexe car park – access to this car park Monday 2 – Thursday 5 October will be from A96 only and there will be minor delays on Friday 6 October due to lining works.
Access to the Councillor’s car park on Glover Street Monday 2 – Thursday 5 October will be from A96 only and there will be minor delays on Friday 6 October due to lining works.
Moray Council Roads team apologise in advance for any inconvenience this will cause and ask you to respect our roadworkers and comply with any directions / instructions given during these works.
