Carbon Literacy Training Next Week!
19/10/2022
There are still places left for our climate change course next week, which all staff are invited and encouraged to take part in. The training is designed for local authorities and aims to increase understanding of the climate crisis and provide confidence in how to talk about it. Participants who complete the course will be certified as Carbon Literate, which means having an awareness of the carbon costs and impacts of everyday activities and the ability and motivation to reduce personal and workplace emissions.
The course is suitable for everyone and is really engaging for both those with an interest is climate change already, or those who are totally new to the subject. It requires approximately 8 hours of learning, which we will be delivering via Teams on the below dates:
- Wednesday 26th October 9.30am – 1.30pm
- Thursday 27th October 9.30am – 1.30pm
(attendance on both days is required)
There are plenty of spaces on this course - please contact sophie.ward@moray.gov.uk by end of Monday (24th) if you would like to join us.
If you are unable to manage these dates but would like to know when the next one will be, we can add you to the waiting list.
