Planned ICT Works – Friday 29th April 2022 (Rescheduled)

This is an important notice to all staff to advise of external works taking place on Friday 29th April which will affect all ICT systems/services. NOTE: These works were originally scheduled for Friday 22nd April but were cancelled by the external party at short notice.
Further to a major service effecting incident at the local BT exchange in Elgin on Tuesday 19th April, we have been advised by our broadband service provider that further remedial works will be required as a matter of urgency. These remedial works involve the replacement of faulty telecoms based equipment, which will result in a brief outage. These works have been scheduled for Friday 29th April at approximately 20:00hrs, resulting in a loss of council ICT services of between 5-10 minutes.
